Abu Muslim Football Club ( prs, باشگاه فوتبال ابومسلم, Bâšgâh-e Futbâl-e Abu-Muslim) is an Afghan professional football club from Farah that currently plays in the Afghanistan Champions League. History The club was established in 1967. In 2021, they participated in the revamped Afghanistan Champions League. In the 2022 season, the club came second after Attack Energy by 4 points. It was one of the two clubs that finished without any defeat. During the Champions League games, the teams of Attack Energy and Abu Muslim played against each other, and this match ended with a result of 1–1. Afghanistan Champions League
The Afghanistan Champions League, previously known as the Afghan Premier League and the Rahmani Foundation Afghan Premier League for sponsorship reasons, is a professional men's soccer league run by the Afghanistan Football Federation (AFF). It is the country's primary competition for the sport. The competition commenced in September 2012. The league is currently contested by twelve teams. Seasons usually runs from September, followed by final series involving two highest-placed teams in each group. National champion gains qualification into the continental competition, AFC Cup. Attack Energy Football Club ( fa, اتک انرژی) is an Afghan professional football club from Herat that currently plays in the Afghanistan Champions League. The club is managed by former Afghan international Ali Yarzada. History Attack Energy SC was founded in 1947 and is a member of the regional Herat Football Federation. In 2019 the team won its regional league, the Herat Champions Cup. With a victory over Abu Muslim FC, Attack Energy SC clinched the 2022 Afghanistan Champions League championship with one game remaining. The club went undefeated in eleven matches to secure the title in its first league season. Syed Abdullah Shah (born 6 February 2001) is a Pakistani professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Afghanistan Champions League club Abu Muslim and the Pakistan national team.
