Abhinay Deo is an Indian filmmaker. Life and career Abhinay Deo is an Indian commercial director turned film director. Abhinay's first movie was ''Game (2011 film), Game'' (2011). His second, ''Delhi Belly (film), Delhi Belly'', was released on 1 July 2011. Before directing commercials, he graduated with a degree in architecture. His parents are the actors Ramesh Deo and Seema Deo. He is younger brother of Ajinkya Dev, Ajinkya Deo, who is also a well-known actor in Marathi films. He made his mainstream directorial debut through ''Game (2011 film), Game'' and followed it with ''Delhi Belly (film), Delhi Belly'', for which he received Filmfare Awards, Filmfare Award for Best Debut Director and is also known for directing works such as ''Game (2010 film), Game'' (2011) and ''Force 2'' (2016). Doosra (film)
''Doosra'' is an upcoming Indian feature film directed by Abhinay Deo. The original idea behind the film came from Chicago-based Executive Producers Masha Sajdeh and Rohan Sajdeh, which was then developed into a story and screenplay by Agnello Dias. Two Hollywood writers, Matt Graham and Zak Shaikh were also brought in during development to work on the screenplay. The film is produced by Masha Sajdeh, Steven Cantor and Jamie Schutz. Doosra is the story of how cricket changed India, seen through the eyes of a young girl. ''24'' is an Indian Hindi-language action thriller television series which aired on Colors TV, based on the American series of the same name. It aired from 4 October 2013 through 21 December 2013. It was written by Rensil D'Silva, Bhavani Iyer, directed by Abhinay Deo and produced by Ramesh Deo Productions. Season 2 aired from 23 July 2016 and completed its run on 9 October 2016. The Hindi version of ''24'' is the first adaptation of the show; the India rights were acquired from Fox and ''24'' producer Howard Gordon by the production company of Anil Kapoor, who also plays the lead role in the adaptation.
