Abena Rockstar
Bernice Bediako Poku, known professionally as Abena Rockstar, is a Ghanaian rapper and songwriter from Kumasi. Music career In 2014, she recorded a music project named ‘Only Few Can Relate,’ which she simultaneously released in April 2017 with her ‘May All Fears inside Abort’ EP. Abena is associated with cutting edges lyrics about life and the realities of living. In September 2017, her eponymous single, ‘Abena’, was selected for study at the Department of African Studies at Howard University in the USA. At the start of 2018, a Swedish television station, Sveriges Television featured Abena Rockstar in their documentary about Ghanaian hiphop. Abena Rockstar released her debut album, the Harvest Season LP, in March 2019. Kumasi
Kumasi (historically spelled Comassie or Coomassie, usually spelled Kumase in Twi) is a city in the Ashanti Region, and is among the largest metropolitan areas in Ghana. Kumasi is located in a rain forest region near Lake Bosomtwe, and is the commercial, industrial, and cultural capital of the historical Ashanti Empire. Rapper
Rapping (also rhyming, spitting, emceeing or MCing) is a musical form of vocal delivery that incorporates "rhyme, rhythmic speech, and street vernacular". Chale Wote Street Art Festival
The Chale Wote Street Art Festival also known as Chale Wote is an alternative platform that brings art, music, dance and performance out into the streets. The festival targets exchanges between scores of local and international artists and patrons by creating and appreciating art together. Since 2011, CHALE WOTE has included street painting, graffiti murals, photography, theater, spoken word, interactive art installations, live street performances, extreme sports, film shows, a fashion parade, a music block party, recyclable design workshops and much more. Western Region (Ghana)
The Western Region is located in south Ghana, spreads from the Ivory Coast ( Comoé District) in the west to the Central region in the east, includes the capital and large twin city of Sekondi-Takoradi on the coast, coastal Axim, and a hilly inland area including Elubo.
