Abdulaziz Al-Ansari
Abdulaziz Al Ansari ( ar, عبد العزيز الأنصاري; born 19 February 1992) is a Qatari professional footballer who plays as a striker for Al-Shamal, on loan from Al Arabi. He also plays for the Qatar national olympic team. Career Ansari joined Al Sadd's senior team when he was 16 years old, after previously playing for their youth team. Since then, he has played mostly on the reserve team, scoring 27 goals in 28 appearances. In addition, he scored 50 goals in 15 games in the U-17 league. Ansari was awarded "Best Player Under-21" by QFA two times. In March 2011, he had a trial with Premier League side West Ham United. It was widely reported that he had joined the English outfit. However, the move never materialized. In the Summer of 2013, he joined Belgian Second Division side K.A.S. Emir of Qatar Cup ( ar, كأس أمير قطر), also known as the Emir Cup, but changed to Amir Cup starting in 2019, is an association football tournament played every season by 18 first and second division teams. The most successful is Al Sadd who won the tournament 18 times. Emir of Qatar Cup was played for the first time in 1972, and was won by Al Ahli. History Al Ahli SC won the first ever Emir of Qatar Cup, defeating Al-Rayyan SC 6-1 under the leadership of Sudanese coach Mohammed Kheiri. The GCC Champions League ( ar, دوري أبطال الخليج للأندية), formerly known as the Gulf Cup for Clubs ( ar, كأس الخليج للأندية), was an annually organized football league tournament for clubs of the Arabian peninsula. The Sheikh Jassim Cup ( ar, كأس الشيخ جاسم) is an annual men's super cup competition in Qatari football held between the winner of the Qatar Stars League and the Emir of Qatar Cup.
