Abdourahmane Ndiaye (born 31 December 1996) is a Senegalese professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for French club Stade Briochin. Career Ndiaye helped Pau FC get promoted into the Ligue 2, and extended his contract with them on 6 June 2020. Dakar ( ; ; wo, Ndakaaru) (from daqaar ''tamarind''), is the capital and largest city of Senegal. The city of Dakar proper has a population of 1,030,594, whereas the population of the Dakar metropolitan area is estimated at 3.94 million in 2021. A midfielder is an outfield position in association football. Midfielders may play an exclusively defensive role, breaking up attacks, and are in that case known as defensive midfielders. As central midfielders often go across boundaries, with mobility and passing ability, they are often referred to as deep-lying midfielders, play-makers, box-to-box midfielders, or holding midfielders.
