Abdiwahid Elmi Gonjeh
Abdiwahid Elmi Gonjeh ( so, Cabdiwaahid Elmi Goonjeex, ar, وحيد عبدي علمي غونجاه), popularly known as Abdiwahid Gonjeh, is a Somali politician. He is currently a Senator of upper house of the Federal Parliament representing Galmudug region , Abudwak District. From September through October 2010, he was the acting Prime Minister of Somalia, a post he inherited from Omar Abdirashid Ali Sharmarke. Prior to his appointment, Gonjeh had been the Deputy Prime Minister and federal Minister for Transport. He hails from the Darod Marehan subclan. In mid-2012, Gonjeh presented himself as a candidate in Somalia's 2012 presidential elections. Sharif Sheikh Ahmed ( so, Shariif Sheekh Axmed, ar, شريف شيخ أحمد; born 25 July 1964) is a Somali politician who served as President of Somalia from 2009 to 2012. He is the founder and leader of Himilo Qaran political party and also the founder and head of the Forum for National Parties ( so, Madasha Xisbiyada Qaran) of Somalia. Omar Abdirashid Ali Sharmarke (; so, Cumar Cabdirashiid Cali Sharmaarke, ar, عمر شرماركي) (born 18 June 1960), popularly known as Omar Sharmarke, is a Somali diplomat and politician. From 2009 to 2010, he was the Prime Minister of Somalia. He subsequently briefly served as Somalia's Ambassador to the United States in 2014. In December 2014, Sharmarke was reappointed Prime Minister of Somalia. His term ended on 1 March 2017, and he was replaced by Hassan Ali Khaire.
