Abderhaman Mami
Abderhaman Mami (September 15, 1904–July 13, 1954) was a prominent figure in Tunisia who partially started the French decolonization movement by the local Tunisian population. Mami was the first doctor specialist in Tunisia who was also the personal doctor of the Bey, or the equivalent of the king before Tunisia turned into a republic. Mami was known for his benevolent work for the poor and his active participation to plot against the French authorities who were in control of the country. ''La Main Rouge'' ( en, The Red Hand) was a French terrorist organization operated by the French foreign intelligence agency ( External Documentation and Counter-Espionage Service), or SDECE, in the 1950s. Its purpose was to eliminate the supporters of Algerian independence and the leading members of the ''Front de Libération Nationale'' (FLN) during the Algerian War. The assassination of the Tunisian labor unionist and independence activist Farhat Hached December 5, 1952 is attributed to ''La Main Rouge''. Several bomb attacks took place in the Federal Republic of Germany, like the assassination attempts of the arms dealer Otto Schlüter on 26 September 1956 and 3 June 1957, and the killing of Georg Puchert (alias Captain Morris) on 3 March 1959. The ''Revue Politique et Parlementaire'' is a quarterly French journal that discusses political issues, founded in 1894 by Marcel Fournier. History The journal was founded by Marcel Fournier, a professor of law and moderate liberal, with the help of partners such as Pierre Waldeck-Rousseau. The first issue appeared in July 1894. The stated objective was to become "a safe and prudent guide for the elected representatives of universal suffrage and the cadres of democracy". Fournier wanted to discuss questions debated in parliament in more depth, and disseminate the views of specialists to the politicians. The journal was published in Paris and appeared monthly.
