Abbas Torabian
Abbas Torabian (عباس ترابیان, born 12 January 1952, Tehran, Iran) is the former team manager of Iran national football team and the current head of futsal committee in Islamic Republic of Iran Football Federation. He was deputy chairman of the Esteghlal FC from 1998 to 2008, and was appointed as head of the futsal committee by Ali Kafashian in November 2008. He became team manager and director of Iran national football team in April 2011 after his successful talks with Carlos Queiroz to become head coach of the national team but resigned in November 2011 to continue his career at the futsal committee. He was an employee in the Ministry of Petroleum before starting football careers. Ali Kafashian ( fa, علی کفاشیان, born on 6 August 1954 in Nain) is an Iranian businessman, economist, a retired athlete and former president of the Football Federation Islamic Republic of Iran, a position he had held from 1 March 2008 to 7 May 2016. As of May 2015, he also serves as one of five Vice presidents at the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). He previously served as Secretary General of Iran's National Olympic Committee from 2004 until 2008. Carlos Manuel Brito Leal de Queiroz (; born 1 March 1953) is a Portuguese football coach who currently is the head coach of the Iran national team.
