Aaron Maund
Aaron Michael Thomas Maund (born September 19, 1990) is an American Association football, soccer player who most recently played for Charlotte Independence in the USL Championship. Career Youth and college Maund played four years at The Roxbury Latin School in Boston, Massachusetts and four years with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, starting 77 matches in his college career. Professional Maund was selected 12th overall by Toronto FC in the first round of the 2012 MLS SuperDraft. On March 17, 2012 Maund made his debut for Toronto as a first half sub for Torsten Frings in a 3–1 away defeat to Seattle Sounders FC. On December 3, 2012, Maund was traded to Real Salt Lake in exchange for Justin Braun (soccer), Justin Braun. On August 9, 2017, Maund was traded to Vancouver Whitecaps FC in exchange for a third-round pick in the 2018 MLS SuperDraft. Maund was released by Vancouver at the end of their 2018 season. The 2013 Major League Soccer season was the 101st season of FIFA-sanctioned soccer in the United States and Canada, the 35th with a national first-division league, and the 18th season of Major League Soccer. The 2012 Canadian Championship (officially the Amway Canadian Championship for sponsorship reasons) was a soccer tournament hosted and organized by the Canadian Soccer Association that took place in the cities of Edmonton, Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver in 2012. As in the previous tournament, participating teams included FC Edmonton, Montreal Impact, Toronto FC and Vancouver Whitecaps FC. The FIFA U-20 World Cup is the biennial football world championship tournament for FIFA members’ men's national teams with players under the age of 20. The 2020 Major League Soccer season was the 25th season of Major League Soccer (MLS), the top professional soccer league in the United States and Canada. MLS SuperDraft
The MLS SuperDraft is an annual college draft for teams of Major League Soccer in the United States and Canada. It takes place in January and is used by teams to select players who have graduated from college or otherwise been signed by the league. The SuperDraft was first instituted in 2000, as a combination of the MLS College Draft, in which players having graduated from college were selected, and the MLS Supplemental Draft, in which all other players were chosen.
