2012 MLS SuperDraft
The 2012 MLS SuperDraft was the thirteenth annual SuperDraft presented by Major League Soccer. It was held on January 12, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. (ET). The draft was reduced from three rounds to two with the 19 MLS clubs selecting a total of 38 players. The expansion Montreal Impact had the first overall selection. The New England Revolution are an American professional association football, soccer club based in the Greater Boston area. The club competes in Major League Soccer (MLS) as a member of the Eastern Conference (MLS), Eastern Conference. It is one of the ten charter clubs of MLS, having competed in the league since its 1996 Major League Soccer season, inaugural season. Sam Garza
Samuel Cruz Garza (born October 17, 1989) is an American soccer player for Denton Diablos FC in the National Premier Soccer League. Early life and education Garza was born on October 17, 1989, in Carrollton, Texas. After his father's job moved him to New Mexico, he returned to Highland Village, Texas, to attend Edward S. Marcus High School and play on the school's varsity soccer team from 2005 to 2008. Garza would win back-to-back Texas Class 5A State titles with the team and was named as the 2008 Texas Gatorade Player of the Year and a NSCAA All-American. Garza attended the University of Denver and played college soccer for the Denver Pioneers men's soccer team. The San Jose Earthquakes are an American professional association football, soccer club based in San Jose, California. The Maryland Terrapins men's soccer team represents the University of Maryland, College Park, University of Maryland in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) College soccer in the United States, college soccer competition. Casey Townsend
Casey James Townsend (born July 7, 1989) is an American former professional soccer player who played as a forward or midfielder. Career Prep career Townsend played for Traverse City West High School in Michigan from 2004 to 2007. During his time there he was named the state's Player of The Year (Mr. Soccer) in 2006 and 2007. He is the only player who has ever been given that award twice. He was also named a two-time NSCAA All-American (2006 & 2007), and three-time PARADE All-American (2005 to 2007), while scoring a school record 105 goals and adding 47 assists in his four years there. UC Santa Barbara Gauchos Men's Soccer
The UC Santa Barbara Gauchos men's soccer team is an NCAA Division I college soccer team composed of student-athletes attending the University of California, Santa Barbara. The Gauchos play their home matches at Harder Stadium. Like most of the other UC Santa Barbara Gauchos athletic teams, the men's soccer team competes in the Big West Conference. The UCSB Gauchos won the 2006 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship. Luis Saúl Silva López (born 10 December 1988) is a Mexican former professional association football, footballer who played as an Midfielder, attacking midfielder or Forward (association football), forward. Early life and education Silva was born in Oaxaca, Mexico, and moved to Los Angeles at a young age. Crossfire Redmond, previously the Seattle Wolves and Washington Crossfire, is an American soccer organization based in Seattle, Washington, United States.
