Aaron Lieberman
Aaron Lieberman is an American politician who served as an Arizona State Representative for the 28th district from 2019 to 2021. A member of the Democratic Party, he resigned from office to run for Governor of Arizona in 2022. Early life, education, and career Aaron was born in Tempe, Arizona, and raised in Phoenix. He studied at Yale University before founding Jumpstart, an education nonprofit, and Acelero Learning. In 2015, Lieberman returned to Arizona, becoming a philanthropist and the CEO of a surgery center in Phoenix. Politics During the 2018 elections, Lieberman defeated incumbent Republican State Representative Maria Syms in Arizona's 28th legislative district, a Phoenix-area seat. 2022 Arizona gubernatorial election In June 2021, Lieberman announced that he would run for Governor of Arizona in next year's election. Arizona's 28th Legislative District
Arizona's 28th Legislative District (LD28) is one of 30 in the state, situated in central Maricopa County. The district is composed of the town of Paradise Valley and much of North Central Phoenix, including the Arcadia, Biltmore, and Sunnyslope neighborhoods. As of 2021, there are 57 precincts in the district, with a total registered voter population of 150,713. The district's overall population is 234,609. States Newsroom is a U.S. tax-exempt organization that serves as an umbrella organization for state-focused news outlets with progressive editorial outlooks. Launched in 2019, it began as a sponsored project of the Hopewell Fund, a left-leaning nonprofit that does not disclose its donors. Kathleen Marie Hobbs (born December 28, 1969) is an American politician and social worker who is the governor-elect of Arizona, having been elected in 2022. She has served as the 21st secretary of state of Arizona since 2019. A member of the Democratic Party, Hobbs served in the Arizona Senate from 2013 to 2019 and in the Arizona House of Representatives from 2011 to 2013. KPNX (channel 12) is a television station licensed to Mesa, Arizona, United States, serving the Phoenix area as an affiliate of NBC.
