Aaron Fowler
Aaron Fowler (born July 23, 1988, St. Louis, Missouri) is an American contemporary interdisciplinary artist who lives and works in Los Angeles. His work has been shown at the New Museum, Studio Museum in Harlem, Rubell Museum, Seattle Art Museum, Columbus College of Art and Design, and Hammer Museum. Much of his work deals with community involvement through his project ''Into Existence''.'' '' Fowler received his BFA from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and his MFA from Yale University School of Art. Hammer Museum
The Hammer Museum, which is affiliated with the University of California, Los Angeles, is an art museum and cultural center known for its artist-centric and progressive array of exhibitions and public programs. Founded in 1990 by the entrepreneur-industrialist Armand Hammer to house his personal art collection, the museum has since expanded its scope to become "the hippest and most culturally relevant institution in town." Columbus College of Art & Design (CCAD) is a private art school in Columbus, Ohio. It was founded in 1879 as the Columbus Art School and is one of the oldest private art and design colleges in the United States.
