Aarhus United is a Danish women's handball club based in Aarhus. They play in Damehåndboldligaen, Denmark's premier women's handball league. Aarhus United was founded in 2017 and took over SK Aarhus's league license for the 2017-18 season. Ceres Arena
Ceres Arena (formerly NRGi Arena) is an indoor arena mainly used for handball matches and public events in Aarhus, Denmark. The arena was opened in 2001 and has a capacity of 5,001 spectators (4,394 seats). It is part of the Aarhus Sports Park, which also includes Aarhus Stadium. Ceres Arena is home to Danish Women's Handball League team Aarhus United and Danish Men's Handball League team Skanderborg Aarhus Håndbold. The arena functioned as the main venue in the 2002 European Women's Championships, hosting the final. The arena was also used for basketball, by Bakken Bears, but because of the high price for renting the arena, Bakken Bears moved back to there old home Vejlby-Risskov Hallen. Alberte Ebler
Elin Alberte Leonora Winding (born 23 August 1963), commonly known as Alberte, is a Danish singer and actress, and the daughter of Thomas Winding and Lulu Gauguin. She grew up in Copenhagen and on the island of Ærø. She worked together with her brothers Kasper Winding and Aske Bentzon on their father's programs for Denmark Radio. Alberte is well known for her appearance as Luna in several episodes of the Danish children's television show '' Bamses billedbog''. She also played Lis in the film ''Strømer'' and has acted in several plays. Winding was married to musician Jan Rørdam for nearly 20 years, and made and played much of her music with him, but they divorced in 2001. Ditte Vind (born 2 January 1994) is a Danish handball player who currently plays for Ajax København and the Denmark national beach team. She was a part of the Danish team that won the Beach Games 2019 Handball tournament and the 2019 European Beach Handball Championship. She was a part of the Women's EHF Beach Handball EURO 2023 All-star Team as the goalkeeper. Simone Cathrine Petersen
Simone Cathrine Petersen (born 28 August 1997) is a Danish handball player for Ikast Håndbold and the Danish national team. She represented Denmark at the 2021 World Women's Handball Championship in Spain. She debuted for the Danish national team in 2021 against France. The same year she was at her first major tournament, the 2021 world cup in Spain where she won a bronze medal. Career Simone Petersen started playing handball in her hometown Ringsted at TMS Ringsted. While she was enrolled at Københavns Idrætsefterskole in Copenhagen she was on the youth team at BK Ydun. When she returned to Jutland she joined FC Midtjylland Håndbold, where she debuted in the Danish league at the age of 17. Majbritt Toft Hansen (born 27 April 1993) is a Danish handball player for Viborg HK and the Danish national team. Viborg HK (Viborg Håndbold Klub) is the name of a Danish handball club from Viborg. The club has many teams for both women and men, but especially the professional women's team is one of the most successful in Danish and European handball since the beginning of the 1990s. This team currently competes in the women's Danish Women's Handball League. SønderjyskE is a Denmark, Danish sport club. They have two team handball, handball teams (one male based in Sønderborg, one female based in Aabenraa), two Football (soccer), football teams (one professional male club and one professional female club, both based in Haderslev) and an SønderjyskE Ishockey, ice hockey team based in Vojens.
