Aalavattam (film)
''Aalavattam'' is a 1993 Indian Malayalam film, directed by Raju Ambaran and starring Nedumudi Venu and Shanthi Krishna in the lead roles. Plot Kesavankutty, known as Meppaattupurakkal Kesavankutty is very famous for his ancestors and their family status. They have been running the festivals in the temple for many years. His wife Urmila is a good housewife, caring about him and his family a lot. He has a grandmother and a sister Usha. They have a glass factory as an asset. Nedumudi Venu
Kesavan Venugopal (22 May 1948 – 11 October 2021), better known by his stage name Nedumudi Venu, was an Indian actor and screenwriter from Kerala, who predominantly worked in Malayalam cinema. He acted in more than 500 films, primarily in Malayalam cinema, Malayalam and also in Tamil cinema, Tamil in a career spanning nearly five decades. He wrote screenplays and directed one film. Nedumudi Venu won three National Film Awards and six Kerala State Film Awards for his various performances. Early life Venu was born as Venugopal to P. K. Kesava Pillai, a school master and P. Sukumari
Sukumari Amma (6 October 1940 – 26 March 2013) was an Indian actress best known for her works in Malayalam and Tamil films. In a career spanning more than five decades, She has appeared in more than 2500 films predominantly in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, along with few Hindi and one each in Sinhala, French, Bengali, Tulu, English and Kannada films. Sukumari began acting at the age of 10. In 2003, she was awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India for her contributions toward the arts. She won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the Tamil film ''Namma Gramam'' (2010). Sukumari died on 26 March 2013 in Chennai, following a heart attack. Devan Sreenivasan (born January 8, 1952), is an Indian film and television actor, producer, and politician from Kerala. Chandrashekaran Menon, better known by his screen name Sankaradi (14 July 1924 – 8 October 2001), was an Indian actor. He was a veteran Malayalam comedian and character artist, who had over 700 Malayalam films to his credit. He dominated the Malayalam film scene in the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s as a comedian along with Adoor Bhasi and Bahadoor. Later, he switched to character roles.
