Aadujeevitham (film)
''Aadujeevitham'' (), also titled ''The Goat Life'', is an upcoming survival drama film written, directed, and co-produced by Blessy. The film is an international co-production between companies in India and the United States, and features dialogues in both Malayalam and Arabic languages. It is an adaptation of the 2008 Malayalam novel of the same name by Benyamin, which is based on a true story. The film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran as Najeeb, a Malayali immigrant worker forced into slavery as a goatherd in a farm in Saudi Arabia. The film was in development hell since 2009. Blessy wanted to adapt ''Aadujeevitham'' ever since he read the novel in 2008. Prithviraj was cast in the same year, but there was no progress due to budget constraints. Blessy Ipe Thomas is an Indian film director and screenwriter who works in Malayalam cinema. He has won one National Film Awards, National Film Award and six Kerala State Film Awards for his feature films ''Kaazhcha'' (2004), ''Thanmathra'' (2005), and ''Pranayam'' (2011). His documentary film ''100 Years of Chrysostom'' (2018) received the Guinness World Records, Guinness World Record for the longest documentary in the world, with a runtime of 48 hours and 10 minutes. ''The New Indian Express'' is an Indian English-language broadsheet daily newspaper published by the Chennai-based Express Publications. It was founded in 1932 as ''The Indian Express'', under the ownership of Chennai-based P. Varadarajulu Naidu. Kayamkulam is a town and municipality in the ''Onattukara'' region of Alappuzha district in Kerala. It is the second biggest town in Alappuzha district. The 76th annual Cannes Film Festival was a film festival that took place from 16 to 27 May 2023. Swedish filmmaker Ruben Östlund served as jury president.
