Aado Lintrop
Aado Lintrop (born 9 June 1956, Tallinn) is an Estonian poet, religious researcher and folklorist. He graduated from the University of Tartu with a degree in Estonian language, Estonian and Finno-Ugric languages, Finno-Ugric philology in 1995. The same year, he also received a master's degree in Estonian and comparative folklore. He received his doctorate from the University of Tartu in 2000 in Estonian and comparative folklore. From 1979 until 1990, he worked at Estonian National Museum. Since 2000, he has been working at the Estonian Literary Museum. From 2004 to 2005, he was the head of Estonian Literary Museum's Estonian Folklore Archives. Eesti Rahvusringhääling (ERR) – ''Estonian Public Broadcasting'' – is a publicly funded and owned radio and television organisation created in Estonia on 1 June 2007 to take over the functions of the formerly separate Eesti Raadio (ER) (''Estonian Radio'') and Eesti Televisioon (ETV) (''Estonian Television''), under the terms of the Estonian National Broadcasting Act. The Estonian Folklore Archives (EFA) is the central folklore archives in Estonia. The Archives functions currently as the subdivision of the Estonian Literary Museum but it was established in 1927 as the division of the Estonian National Museum. The current Head of the Archives is Dr. Risto Järv. History Established in 1927, the Estonian Folklore Archives was made the central folklore archive and research institution of Estonia.
