Aad De Mos
Adriaan "Aad" de Mos (born 27 March 1947) is a Dutch retired professional football manager whose career spanned for almost thirty years. He has managed teams in his home country, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Japan, Saudi Arabia and Greece, as well managing the United Arab Emirates national team. De Mos's biggest success was winning the 1987–88 European Cup Winners' Cup as manager of Belgian club Mechelen. Managerial career Early career De Mos was born in The Hague, Netherlands on 27 March 1947. He played in the youth team of local club ADO Den Hag. he began his managing as an assistant to Leo Beenhakker at Ajax, and continued to do so while Kurt Linder was manager. After Linder left, de Mos replaced him as Ajax manager in 1982, and retained the role until he was dismissed shortly before the end of the 1984–1985 season. Kurt Linder
Kurt Linder (8 October 1933 – 12 December 2022) was a German professional football manager and player. He played for Young Boys, Rapid Wien, Rot-Weiss Essen and Lyon, among other teams. After his playing career, Linder became a professional manager in Switzerland with Lausanne-Sport and Young Boys, in Netherlands with XerxesDZB, PSV Eindhoven and Ajax, and in France with Marseille. As a player he won the league titles of Switzerland and Austria with Young Boys and Rapid Wien respectively, while as a manager Linder won the Swiss Cup and Swiss League Cup with Young Boys and the Eredivisie with Ajax in the 1981-82 season with 117 goals for and 42 goals against in 34 matches, with players like Keje Molenaar, Frank Rijkaard, Sonny Silooy, Gerald Vanenburg, Johan Cruijff, Soren Lerby, Tscheu La Ling, Wim Kieft, Jesper Olsen, Marco van Basten and John van 't Schip. Arnhem ( or ; german: Arnheim; South Guelderish: ''Èrnem'') is a city and municipality situated in the eastern part of the Netherlands about 55 km south east of Utrecht. Belgian Second Division
The Belgian Second Division (known as the Proximus League for sponsorship reasons) was the second-highest division in the Belgian football league system, one level below the Belgian Pro League. It was founded by the Royal Belgian Football Association in 1909 and folded in 2016, when it was replaced by the Belgian First Division B. Erik Meijer (footballer)
Erik Meijer (born 2 August 1969) is a retired Dutch footballer. He played as a striker, he was known as a header specialist. He last worked as director of sports for Alemannia Aachen. Career Born in Meerssen, Limburg, Meijer started his career at Fortuna Sittard (1987–89). He broke through in the early 1990s at Dutch Eredivisie club MVV Maastricht and was transferred to PSV Eindhoven in 1994, where he did not play much due to competition by team mates Ronaldo, Luc Nilis and Wim Kieft. He then moved to German Bundesliga struggler KFC Uerdingen 05 in 1995, where he was one of the few bright spots in a hapless squad, and was picked up by Bayer 04 Leverkusen. There, he was paired up with Ulf Kirsten and formed one of the most intimidating striker duos of the Bundesliga. European Cup Winners' Cup
The UEFA Cup Winners' Cup was a European football club competition contested annually by the winners of domestic cup competitions. The cup was, chronologically, the second seasonal inter-European club competition organised by UEFA. The tournament ran for 39 seasons, with the final edition held in 1998–99, after which it was discontinued. The first tournament was held in 1960–61, but it was organised by the Mitropa Cup's Organising Committee and not recognised by the governing body of European football until 1963, when it was accepted as a UEFA competition on the initiative of the Italian Football Federation (FIGC). Belgian Cup
The Belgian Cup (french: link=no, Coupe de Belgique; nl, Beker van België []; german: link=no, Belgischer Fußballpokal) is the main Single-elimination tournament, knockout association football, football competition in Belgium, run by the Belgian Football Association, Royal Belgian FA. The competition started in 1908 with provincial selections as the "Belgian Provinces Cup". Starting from 1912 only actual clubs were allowed to partake.
