Aacharya (2006 Film)
''Aacharya'' is a 2006 Indian Tamil-language gangster drama film written and directed by Ravi, an erstwhile assistant of director Bala. The film stars Vignesh and newcomer Divya, with Nassar, Charan Raj, Vadivukkarasi, Ganja Karuppu, Thennavan, Devan and C. Ezhumalai playing supporting roles. The film had musical score by Srikanth Deva and was released on 23 June 2006. Plot Yadhunandhan is born in a very poor Brahmin family. He lived in an Agraharam in Mannargudi, and he had to go on a daily alms round to collect food. His father left the family at an early age, and his mother died shortly after; a kind-hearted muslim man took the young Yadhunandhan with him and became his adoptive father. Vignesh (actor)
Raja (born 9 April 1971), known professionally as Vignesh, is an Indian actor who predominantly works in Tamil cinema. Career Vignesh got selected to play the lead role in Balu Mahendra's ''Vanna Vanna Pookkal'' (1992) but he was removed from the film after working on it for seven days and was replaced by Prashanth. He made his acting debut in 1992 with the village drama film '' Chinna Thayee''. In 1993, he acted in '' Amma Ponnu'', Bharathiraja's ''Kizhakku Cheemayile'' and Kathir's ''Uzhavan''. In 1995, Vignesh appeared in six films. He starred in ''Chellakannu'', which told the tragic story of a young couple caught between feuding families, and the film performed well and ran for over one hundred days at the box office. Karthik (born 7 November 1980) is an Indian playback singer and composer. Karthik started his professional singing career as a backing vocalist and has since been working as a playback singer. He has sung more than 8000 songs in 15 Indian languages including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Odia, Bengali, Marathi and Hindi. Manikka Vinayagam (10 December 1943 – 26 December 2021) was an Indian playback singer and actor. He sang for South Indian language films and acted in several Tamil films as a character artist. He was the son of the dancer Vazhuvoor B. Ramiah Pillai. His uncle and music guru was the singer C. S. Jayaraman.
