''A Light Never Goes Out'' ( zh, 燈火闌珊) is a 2022 Hong Kong drama film produced by Saville Chan and directed by Anastasia Tsang in her directorial debut. The film had its world premiere at the 2022 Tokyo International Film Festival. The film was the winner of 5th First Feature Film Initiative and received funding from the Film Development Fund. Sylvia Chang
Sylvia Chang (born 21 July 1953) is a Taiwanese actress, writer, singer, producer and director. In 1992, she was a member of the jury at the 42nd Berlin International Film Festival. In 2018, she was one of the jury members of the main competition section at the 75th Venice International Film Festival. Early life Chang was born in Chiayi, Taiwan. She dropped out of school when she was 16, and started her career as a radio DJ. When she was 18 years old she acted in her first film. Career Chang acted in her first film, ''The Tattooed Dragon'' (龍虎金剛) (1973), when she was 18 years old. Chang often attempted to do her own stunts in the four-part film series ''Aces Go Places''. Simon Yam Tat-wah (; born 19 March 1955) is a Hong Kong actor and film producer. He received international acclaim for his performances in international film festival and box office hits such as ''Naked Killer'', '' SPL: Sha Po Lang'', ''Election'', ''Election 2'' , ''Exiled'', '' Lara Croft: Tomb Raider – The Cradle of Life'' and ''The Thieves''. The is a film festival established in 1985. The event was held biennially from 1985 to 1991 and annually thereafter.
