A Different Kind of Truth (or Viva La Van Halen Tour) was a 2012–13 concert tour for hard rock band Van Halen. It was Van Halen's tour in support of their 2012 album, '' A Different Kind of Truth''. History On December 26, 2011, the official Van Halen website was updated, announcing that tickets for the 2012 tour would be available starting January 10, 2012. On January 10, the single "Tattoo" premiered on radio stations. The band's new album from Interscope Records, entitled '' A Different Kind of Truth'', was released on February 7. The band did three warm-up shows – Cafe Wha? in New York City on January 5, 2012, Henson Recording Studios in Hollywood, California on February 1, and The Forum in Inglewood, California on February 8 – before kicking off the North American leg of the tour in Louisville at KFC Yum! ''A Different Kind of Truth'' is the twelfth and final studio album by American rock band Van Halen. Released on February 7, 2012, by Interscope Records, this is Van Halen's only studio album on Interscope and its first full-length album of studio material with lead singer David Lee Roth since ''1984''. Likewise, ''A Different Kind of Truth'' was Van Halen's first studio album since 1998's ''Van Halen III'', as well as their only studio album recorded without bassist Michael Anthony, who had played bass on all of the band's previous albums; Eddie Van Halen's son Wolfgang replaced Anthony for the album, making this his only studio album with the band. Kool & the Gang is an American R&B/soul/funk band formed in Jersey City, New Jersey, in 1964 by brothers Robert "Kool" Bell and Ronald Bell, with Dennis "Dee Tee" Thomas, Robert "Spike" Mickens, Charles Smith, George Brown, and Ricky West. Diverticulitis, specifically colonic diverticulitis, is a gastrointestinal disease characterized by inflammation of abnormal pouches—diverticula—which can develop in the wall of the large intestine. Symptoms typically include lower abdominal pain of sudden onset, but the onset may also occur over a few days. There may also be nausea; and diarrhea or constipation.
