AREKA Studio
Areka ( Ge'ez: አረካ) is city in southern Ethiopia. Located in some 300 kilometres southwest of the capital, Addis Ababa. This town has a latitude and longitude of and an elevation of 1774 meters above sea level. It is the administrative center of Boloso Sore woreda. Areka is served by a sub-office of the Ethiopian postal service. Areka was founded in 1959, and a primary school opened in the town in 1962. The Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research opened a center in Areka in 1985 dedicated to improving the yield of enset. Demographics Based on figures from the Central Statistical Agency in 2020, this town has an estimated total population of 80,693 of whom 38,880 are men and 41,813 are women Climate Areka features a Tropical Savanna Climate with average rainfall reaches 1290 mm. Prosperity Party
The Prosperity Party ( am, ብልጽግና ፓርቲ, Bilits’igina Paritī; om, Paartii Badhaadhiinaa) is a political party in Ethiopia that was established on 1 December 2019 as a successor to the Ethiopian People's Revolutionary Democratic Front (EPRDF) by incumbent Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed. Southern Nations, Nationalities, And Peoples' Region
The Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples' Region (often abbreviated as SNNPR; am, የደቡብ ብሔር ብሔረሰቦችና ሕዝቦች ክልል, Yädäbub Bḥer Bḥeräsäbočna Hzboč Kllə) is a regional state in southwestern Ethiopia. Wolayita Zone
Wolayita or Wolaita is an administrative zone in Ethiopia. It is named for the Welayta people, whose homeland is in the zone. Wolayita is bordered on the south by Gamo Gofa, on the west by the Omo River which separates it from Dawro, on the northwest by Kembata Tembaro, on the north by Hadiya, on the northeast by the Oromia Region, on the east by the Bilate River which separates it from Sidama Region, and on the south east by the Lake Abaya which separates it from Oromia Region. Boloso Sore
Boloso Sore is a woreda in Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples' Region, Ethiopia. Part of the Wolayita Zone, Boloso Sore is bordered on the south by Sodo Zuria and Damot Sore, on the west by Boloso Bombe, on the northeast by the Kembata Tembaro Zone, on the northeast by the Hadiya Zone, on the east by Damot Pulasa, and on the southeast by Damot Gale. The administrative center is at Areka. Boloso Bombe and Damot Sore woredas were separated from Boloso Sore.
