APO Hiking Society (Apo Hiking Society Album)
The Apolinario Mabini Hiking Society, later popularly known as APO Hiking Society, or simply APO, are a Filipino musical group, that comprised Danny Javier, Jim Paredes, and Boboy Garrovillo. Today, the group consists of only Paredes and Garrovillo as a duo. APO Hiking Society are regarded as one of the pillars and icons of Original Pilipino Music (OPM). The group was formed and had its fledgling beginnings in 1969 at the Ateneo de Manila High School, with 12 members: Lito de Joya, Sonny Santiago, Gus Cosio, Renato Garcia, Chito Kintanar, Kenny Borton, Bruce Brown, Butch Dans, Doden Besa, Ric Segreto Macaraeg, Jim Paredes, Boboy Garrovillo, and the 13th member, Danny Javier, who joined in college. Boboy Garrovillo
Jose Teves Garrovillo Jr. (born in Dipolog, Zamboanga del Norte) Better simply known as Boboy Garrovillo, is a Filipino singer, composer, television host, and actor. He is known as one of the members of the popular musical trio APO Hiking Society along with Danny Javier and Jim Paredes. Personal life Garrovillo was born in Dipolog, Zamboanga del Norte to Jose Garrovillo Sr. and Paulita Teves, sister of Senator Lorenzo Teves and aunt of the former Secretary of Finance, Margarito Teves. He is married to Elizabeth "Bong" Agcaoili and they have two sons, Alfonso and Antonio. Just like his fellow APO bandmates, he went to study at Ateneo de Manila high school. In college, he took an economics course at the Ateneo de Manila University. A stratovolcano, also known as a composite volcano, is a conical volcano built up by many layers (strata) of hardened lava and tephra. Massey Hall
Massey Hall is a performing arts theatre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Opened in 1894, it is known for its outstanding acoustics and was the long-time hall of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. An intimate theatre, it was originally designed to seat 3,500 patrons, but after extensive renovations in the 1940s, it now seats up to 2,765. Meralco Theater is a theater located at the compound of Meralco, Ortigas Avenue in Pasig, Philippines. It used to be known as the Meralco Auditorium. ''Sa Linggo nAPO Sila'' ''(They Are Now On Sunday)'' is a Philippine musical-variety show that aired on ABS-CBN from November 6, 1988, to January 29, 1995, replaced by the first Talent Singing competition show Tawag ng Tanghalan from 1987–1988. The show aired live from the Studio 3 ABS-CBN Broadcasting Center in Quezon City. The show competed with ''GMA Supershow'' but when ''Eat Bulaga!'' moved to GMA Network from ABS-CBN, ''Sa Linggo nAPO Sila'' went its final airing after six years on January 29, 1995, and was replaced by '' ASAP''.
