AEP Kozani Football Club ( el, Α.Ε.Π. Κοζάνης) was a Greek football club based in Karagiannia, Kozani, Greece. History AEP Karagiannia was formally established in 2003 after the merging of villages in the Karagianni area and was hatched by the hitherto "Black Skete" group. The name comes from the original GNPs which mean Pontian Athletic Association and has the eagle emblem. From the first years of its establishment, it has participated in the First Class of EPS. Kozani always finishing in the highest places. Karagiannion GDP participated in two Kozani EPS Cup finals. In 2011–12, they lost the trophy to SA Perdiccas. They won the Cup in 2015–16 against Macedonian Foufa. In 2016–17, they won the championship in Kozani and was promoted for the first time in its history at the Gamma Ethniki. Kozani Stadium
Kozani Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Kozani, Greece. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Kozani F.C., Kozani. The stadium holds 4,000 and was built in 1955. The stadium is located on the southwest side of the city and is part of the Municipal Sports Center of Kozani. The stadium has a capacity of 4,000 seats and was reconstructed in 1986 and in 2004 with the addition of a roof. Also every year the Lassania athletics competitions take place. 2022–23 Gamma Ethniki
The 2022–23 Gamma Ethniki is the 40th season since the official establishment of the championship in 1983, and the second after the reestablishment as the 3rd tier of the Greek Football. The competition is about to start on 13 November 2022, and will be conducted in five groups, in contrast to 2021–22 season, when it was conducted in seven groups. The groups were formed according to geographical criteria. After all games of the five groups are played, the champion of each group qualifies for a playoff round, from which the top four clubs will be promoted to Super League 2. Kozani ( el, Περιφερειακή Ενότητα Κοζάνης, Perifereiakí Enótita Kozánis) is one of the regional units of Greece. It is part of the region of Western Macedonia, in the geographic region of Macedonia. Its capital is the city of Kozani. The Gamma Ethniki ( el, Γ΄ Εθνική Ερασιτεχνική Κατηγορία, C National Amateur Division) is the third highest football league in Greece.
