ACC Premier League
The ACC Premier League is a One Day cricket tournament run by the Asian Cricket Council that is contested between its members nations in League system. It has evolved from the former ACC Trophy Elite cricket competition and played under three divisions; Premier, Ellite and Challenge. It gives Associate and Affiliate members of the Asian Cricket Council experience of international one-day cricket and also helps form an essential part of regional rankings. The first tournament was held in Malaysia in May 2014. However, after first edition of Premier and Elite tournament, ACC reformed the tournament structure bifurcated into regional basis rather than Divisional basis. 2014-15 2014 ACC Premier League The first tournament was held in Malaysia between 1–7 May 2014. ACC Trophy
The ACC Trophy was a limited-overs cricket tournament organised by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). Open only to associate and affiliate members of the International Cricket Council (ICC), it was contested biennially between 1996 and 2012, but has been replaced by the three-division ACC Premier League as the primary limited-overs competition for non-Test-playing ACC members. The finalists of the 2000 and 2006 tournaments qualified for the Asia Cup, where matches had One Day International (ODI) status. The inaugural edition of the tournament was played in Malaysia in 1996, and featured 12 teams in a single division. The single-division format continued until the 2006 tournament, which featured a record 17 teams. 2014 ACC Championship
The ACC Championship was a cancelled two-day cricket tournament run by the Asian Cricket Council that is contested between its members nations. The first tournament was scheduled to be held in December 2014. It was canceled due to the busy preparation schedules of Afghanistan and UAE for the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup. 2014 ACC Championship The 2014 ACC Championship was scheduled to be the first tournament of the ACC Championship, to be held in the United Arab Emirates on 7–14 December 2014. The top four teams from the 2014 ACC Premier League, Afghanistan national cricket team, Afghanistan, United Arab Emirates national cricket team, UAE, Nepal national cricket team, Nepal and Oman national cricket team, Oman had qualified for the championship. The Brunei national cricket team was the team that represented the country of Brunei in international cricket. It was organised by the Brunei Darussalam National Cricket Association, which became an affiliate member of the International Cricket Council in 1992. However, the association was expelled in 2015 (having been suspended in 2014), meaning the team's current status is unclear. Brunei played its first recorded match in 1983, but did not appear in an international game until the 1996 ACC Trophy. 2015 ICC World Cricket League Division Six
The 2015 ICC World Cricket League Division Six was a limited-overs international cricket tournament that took place in England from 7 to 13 September 2015. The majority of matches were played at grounds in Essex, although two matches took place in Bishop's Stortford, in the neighbouring county of Hertfordshire. Three bids were received for the event, with Essex being named the host in February 2015, after defeating bids from Guernsey and Vanuatu. Eight teams participated in the tournament, which formed part of the 2012–18 World Cricket League and the qualification process for the 2019 World Cup. Three teams (the Cayman Islands, Guernsey, and Vanuatu) qualified based on their positions in earlier WCL tournaments, while the other five (Botswana, Fiji, Norway, Saudi Arabia, and Suriname) qualified after winning regional qualifiers.
