''A.K.G.'' is a 2007 Malayalam-language historical drama film, directed by Shaji N Karun, starring P. Sreekumar and Krishna Kumar in the lead roles. It is based on the political and personal life of communist leader A.K. Gopalan. The film was edited by Mahesh Narayanan, who had replaced B. Ajithkumar due to scheduling issues.''The Hindu''. Krishna Kumar (born 12 June 1968) is an Indian actor and politician from Kerala who appears in Malayalam and Tamil films and television. He is also a former News Reader in Doordarshan and All India Radio. He is now a BJP national council member from Kerala. Early life Krishna Kumar was born as the younger of the two sons of Gopalakrishnan Nair and Retnamma at Thiruvananthapuram. Mahesh Narayanan (born 2 May 1982) is an Indian film director, screenwriter, editor and cinematographer who predominantly works in Malayalam cinema, he has also worked in Tamil cinema, Tamil and Bollywood, Hindi films. Lonappan Nambadan (13 November 1935 – 5 June 2013) was an Indian politician from Kerala. He was member of the Kerala Legislative Assembly for six terms from 1977 - 2001 and was a state minister in two E. K. Nayanar ministries. He was a member of the 14th Lok Sabha of India. Prakash Karat (born 7 February 1948) is an Indian Communist politician. He was the General Secretary of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) from 2005 to 2015.
