Mahesh Narayanan
Mahesh Narayanan (born 2 May 1982) is an Indian film director, screenwriter, editor and cinematographer who predominantly works in Malayalam cinema, he has also worked in Tamil cinema, Tamil and Bollywood, Hindi films. He is a recipient of the Kerala State Film Award for Best Debut Director (2017). He is best known for his editing in ''Vishwaroopam'' and ''Vishwaroopam II'', directed by Kamal Haasan. His best works as a director include ''Take Off (2017 film), Take Off'' (2017); which got a special mention in the 65th National Film Awards, ''C U Soon'' (2020) and ''Malik (film), Malik'' (2021). ''Take Off'' is a 2017 Indian Malayalam-language survival thriller film, based on the ordeal of Indian nurses in the city of Tikrit, Iraq, in 2014. Kamal Haasan (born 7 November 1954) is an Indian actor, filmmaker, screenwriter, playback singer, television presenter and politician who works mainly in Tamil cinema and has also appeared in some Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, Kannada and Bengali language, Bengali films. Members of the Iraqi insurgency began taking foreign hostages in Iraq beginning in April 2004. The Kerala State Film Awards are the film awards for a motion picture made in Kerala.
