A.S.D. Sambiase 2023 is an Football in Italy, Italian association football club based in Lamezia Terme, Calabria. History The club has its origins in the former municipality of Lamezia Terme#Sambiase, Sambiase, that was merged with the neighboring municipalities of Nicastro and Eufemia to create Lamezia Terme in 1968. The club, founded in 1923, made its debut in Prima Divisione, Prima Divisione Calabria in the 1948–49 season. In 1952, the club was excluded from all the championships after a riot following the result of a match with Oppido Mamertina. In 1962, the club was reformed with the denomination S.C. Sambiase. Stadio (literally, ''Stadium'') is an Italian pop rock band formed in 1977. The members are Giovanni Pezzoli (drums), Roberto Drovandi (bass guitar), Andrea Fornili (guitar), and Gaetano Curreri (vocals and keyboard). Formation and early recordings The group had a long-standing arrangement as an accompanying band to Lucio Dalla, a Bologna-born singer. Lamezia Terme (), commonly called Lamezia, is an Italian city and ''comune'' of 70,452 inhabitants (2013), in the province of Catanzaro in the Calabria region. Prima Divisione (''First Division'') was the name of the first level of the Italian Football Championship from 1921 to 1926. The 2009–10 Serie D was the sixty-second edition of the top level Italian non-professional football championship. It represented the fifth tier in the Italian football league system.
