A. den Doolaard (; mk, А. ден Долард, A. den Dolard, ; 7 February 1901 – 26 June 1994) is the pseudonym of the Dutch writer and journalist Cornelis Johannes George (Bob) Spoelstra Jr. Biography Den Doolaard went to high school in The Hague. After the death of his father he worked as an accountant with the Batavian Petroleum Company (from 1920 to 1928). In 1926 he made his debut with a collection of poems. In 1928 he terminated his job and started a number of wanderings through the Balkans and France, where he had several jobs such as mason, grape picker, farm worker and longshoreman. He incorporated the experiences gained during his wanderings in novels and newspaper articles. In 1939, the Dutch magazine ''Wij'' published as a serial his historical novella ''Dolken en rozenkransen'' (''Daggers and rosaries''), about the murder of the Yugoslav king Alexander in October 1934 in Marseilles. Mišo Juzmeski
Misho Yuzmeski (Macedonian: Мишо Јузмески / Misho Juzmeski or (older form) Mišo Juzmeski), (Ohrid, Republic of Macedonia, 7 April 1966 – 30 April 2021) was a Macedonian writer, publisher and photographer. Biography Misho Yuzmeski worked as a guide, travel agent and interpreter. Besides his native Macedonian, he speaks several European languages: Bulgarian, Dutch, German, English, French, Italian, Serbian, and Spanish. In 1992 he participated in the work of the first private radio station in Ohrid. In the radio, he worked nearly two years as editor and presenter of shows. In the same year he had an encounter with the photographer Atanas Talevski. Their meeting led to an intensive long-term cooperation in the field of photographic art. Both in 2007 founded the first photo gallery in Elšani. (''The chased water'') is a 1947 Dutch non-fiction novel written by A. den Doolaard, which gives an account of the recovery works to repair dike breaches after the October 1944 Inundation of Walcheren as part of operations by The Allies of World War II during Operation Infatuate. Researchers from Delft University of Technology have found high levels of historical accuracy in den Doolaard's descriptions of the events that took place, the methods used to close the dikes and the key people involved. Den Doolaard assigned pseudonyms to most of the main characters and organisations.
