Lehlogonolo Ronald Mataboge (born March 27, 1997), known professionally as A-Reece, is a South African rapper, songwriter and record producer. He was raised in Pretoria, Gauteng. A-Reece was under Ambitiouz Entertainment in 2015, but with no paper work signed yet . He gained popularity in 2015 following the release of his single, "Couldn't", which featured the rapper Emtee. After disputes with management of the label, he left to become an independent artist late 2016. A-Reece released his debut studio album, ''Paradise'' (2016) which produced the singles, "Couldn't" and "Mgani". In 2017, A-Reece released his second album ''From Me to You & Only You.'' In 2018, he released a collaborative album with Ecco and Wordz titled "''Long Lost Letters''" (L3), the lead single was "Welcome To My Life". Paradise (A-Reece Album)
''Paradise'' is the debut studio album by South African hip-hop artist A-Reece. It was released by Ambitiouz Entertainment on 21 October 2016. It features guest appearances from Emtee, P-Jay (member of hip hop duo B3nchMarQ and A-Reece's older brother) and Amanda Black. ''Paradise'' topped the iTunes chart under 24 hours of release. Singles The album's first single, "Couldn't" which features rapper Emtee, was released on 18 December 2015. The second single, "Mgani" (correctly spelt as "Mngani") which means friend in the Zulu language was released on 3 June 2016. The album's third single "Zimbali" was released on 13 September 2016. The fourth single "Sebenza", meaning "Work" in Zulu was released on 23 September 2016 accompanied by its music video, it features singer Amanda Black. Ambitiouz Entertainment is a South African independent record label owned and founded by Kgosi Mahumapelo. The label was founded in April 2015 and houses notable acts including, G-Star Da Hustler, Lucky Man, MeekTrapBorn, Kid Tini and Kiddest Gola. Sibongile Ayanda Sizwesiyanda Jiya (born 18 June 1987) known professionally as Ayanda Jiya, is a South African singer, songwriter and record producer, born in Klerksdorp, North West. She was signed under TinismDotc0m in 2010. Her single, "Go Go Girl" was released in 2014, which earned her a nomination for Best RnB Single at the 14th ceremony of Metro FM Music Awards. She later departed from TinismDotc0m and partnered with Zephbeats Studios. Stogie T
Tumi Molekane (born 16 August 1981) is a Tanzanian-born South African rapper and poet. He was the lead vocalist of Tumi and the Volume, that was officially disbanded in 2012. In 2016 Tumi relaunched himself as Stogie T and released an eponymous album titled '' 'Stogie T' '' which featured Da L.E.S, Lastee, Emtee, Nasty C, Nadia Nakai & Yanga. MTV Africa Music Awards 2021
The 2021 MTV Africa Music Awards ceremony was postponed. The event was set to be held in Kampala, Uganda. The award ceremony, was to be aired live on MTV Base, and MTV was to air the event globally, in 180 countries, for the first time, according to Paul Grein of Billboard. The show was to be hosted virtually by DJ Khaled in the City of Miami. The ceremony was set to feature performances from various African celebrities; Wizkid, Sheebah Karungi, Diamond Platnumz, Khaligraph Jones, Nasty C, Suspect 95, Soraia Ramos, and Calema, among others. The repeat show will also be aired on BET Africa, BET International, and MTV channels. It brings back the Listener's Choice category, with top 20 "Listener's Choice" finalists. Mthembeni Ndevu, better known by his stage name Emtee (stylized as eMTee) is a South African rapper. He was born in Matatiele and grew up in Rockville, Soweto, where he was involved in talent shows.
