Radio broadcasting is transmission of audio (sound), sometimes with related metadata, by radio waves to radio receivers belonging to a public audience. Northside Broadcasting Co-operative Limited (2NSB) is a community radio station based in Chatswood, Sydney, Australia. It operates on the FM 99.3 frequency and is referred to as ''Northside Radio FM99.3'' on-air and for business purposes. BandNews FM is a Brazilian all-news radio network owned by Grupo Bandeirantes de Comunicação. First broadcast on May 20, 2005, it is the first Brazilian radio network that provides non-stop news programming 24 hours a day, considering that CBN does intersperse news with talk shows.
