In May 2023, Northside Radio FM99.3 celebrates its 40th anniversary since it first went on air. In 2009 it began restructuring its programs and music content to community-based magazine shows, specialist music programs and a more mainstream playlist.

. After a successful reorganisation and rescue plan Northside resumed local programming in January 2010, regaining its status and audience. It continues to broadcast from Chatswood on Sydney’s lower north shore. The station broadcasts across the northern suburbs of Sydney from Mosman to Hornsby. It operates as a not-for-profit Co-Operative. The new 2NSB Board Chair for 2022-23 is Gerry Stevens, a weekly Northside program presenter/producer. The current station co-ordinator is Paul Just. The station is supported by around 70 volunteers many of whom are presenters and/or program producers.
