''Fair & Lovely'' (''Phēr aṇḍ lavlī'') is a 2014 Indian Kannada romance drama film written and directed by D. P. Raghuram. Produced by Shilpa Ramesh under the banner Jade Plant Ventures, the film stars Prem Kumar as Manoj and Shwetha Srivatsav as Bhumika, a sex worker, in the lead roles. Vijay Raghavendra appears in an extended special appearance. The music was composed by V. Harikrishna who has also made his debut as a lyricist by penning one track for the film. The film was released on 24 October 2014, to generally positive reviews from critics, who acclaimed the film's screenplay, narration, dialogues, cinematography and the performances of the lead pair, Kumar and Shwetha Srivatsav. Shwetha Srivatsav is an Indian actress, known for her work in Kannada cinema and television. She began her career in theatre, before moving to television, where she received recognition for her role in T. N. Seetharam's ''Manvantara''. She subsequently went on to work in films. Having made her film debut with ''Mukha Mukhi'' (2006), she shot to fame with her performance in '' Simple Agi Ondh Love Story'' (2013). Her performance in '' Fair & Lovely'' (2014) won her the Filmfare Award South for Best Actress. Career Shwetha took part in a theatre workshop conducted by B. V. ''Adhyaksha'' () is a 2014 Indian Kannada language romantic comedy film directed by Nanda Kishore. It stars Sharan, Hebah Patel, Chikkanna, P. Ravi Shankar, Malavika Avinash and Ramesh Bhat.
