The Stitches is an American 1970s-style punk rock band formed in 1993 in Orange County, California, United States. The Stitches record on independent labels such as Disaster, Gold Standard Laboratories, Vinyl Dog, Suburbia, TKO, and Kapow. Current band members are Mike Lohrman on vocals, Johnny Witmer on guitar, Pete Archer on bass, Jim Kaa on guitar and Craig Barker on drums. Former members include drummer Johnny Sleeper and guitarist Logan Graham and Retard Ron and Ted. In 2008, Witmer co-founded The Crazy Squeeze with Sleeper, Graham and Tara Belle of Long Beach-based Ciril. Gold Standard Laboratories or GSL was an independent record label which was founded in 1993 in Boulder, Colorado by Sonny Kay. In 2000, it was relocated to San Diego, California, United States, and two years later, to Los Angeles. It was headquartered in L.A. until closing its doors on October 29, 2007. TKO Records is an independent punk rock record label in Portland, Oregon. The label is primarily known for its role in the late 1990s American street punk scene and has continued its notability as a source of new releases, reissues, and archival recordings. The ''OC Weekly'' newspaper recognized the label as "best record label" in Orange County in 2011 and its record store of the same name as "best punk-rock record store" in Orange County, 2008. Le Shok
Le Shok was an American electropunk band from Long Beach, California. The band was made up of members of various other punk bands from the area and existed from 1997 until early 2001, releasing numerous seven-inch records and splits, releasing one full-length album, and touring the United States twice. Biography Le Shok formed in 1997 (originally under the name the Shock) by Asshole Andrew (Treadwell) on guitar, Joey Juvenile (The Locust) on drums, and Hot Rod Todd on vocals. After hearing a rehearsal tape, Darryl Licht (Action League) joined the band on keyboards and Over the Counter Rusty (Treadwell) joined as bassist. The band released four seven-inch records on various labels, and in 2000, Gold Standard Laboratories released the band's sole album, ''We Are Electrocution'', and the band went on a nationwide tour of the United States.
