4E TV
4E TV is a Greek private, partly informative with a purely religious content, television station that broadcasts terrestrially in Central Macedonia and is based in Ampelokipoi, Thessaloniki. It was founded in 1993 and started operating in early 1994. History The name of the network comes from the initials of the words of the phrase Greek Orthodox Ecclesiastical Informative Broadcast (') which is also a phrase of the official full name of the company. The main inspirer of the creation of the ecclesiastical station 4E was the Archimandrite Theofilos Zisopoulos. In 1993, for the needs of this project, he received a degree in journalism. In 1996 he took over the staff of the station and was elected chairman of the board, a position he held for 17 years, until his death in 2013. Sérres ( el, Σέρρες ) is a city in Macedonia, Greece, capital of the Serres regional unit and second largest city in the region of Central Macedonia, after Thessaloniki. Lake Orestiada
Lake Orestiada or Lake of Kastoria ( el, Λίμνη Ορεστιάδα) is a lake in the Kastoria regional unit of Macedonia, northwestern Greece. Sitting at an altitude of 630 metres, the lake covers an area of 28 square kilometres. Nine rivulets flow into the lake, and it drains into the Haliacmon river. Its depth varies from nine to ten metres. Kella, Florina
Kella ( el, Κέλλα, before 1926: Γκορνίτσοβον - ''Gkornitsovon''; Bulgarian/ Macedonian: Горничево, ''Gorničevo'' or ''Gornichevo'') is a village in the Amyntaio municipality of the Florina regional unit, Greece. History The village was first mentioned in an Ottoman defter of 1468, where it is listed under the name of ''Gorničevo'' and described as a small settlement of thirty households. A second defter of 1481 records that the number had increased by only three households. Around 1840, the land of the village was forcibly seized by the Muslim notable Ilyaz Pasha and it was turned into a homestead. Later, the local residents were able to redeem their property. Soufli
Soufli ( el, Σουφλί) is a town in the Evros regional unit, Greece, notable for the silk industry that flourished there in the 19th century. The town stands on the eastern slope of the twin hill of Prophet Elias, one of the easternmost spurs on the Rhodope Mountains. Pythio (Greek: Πύθιο, tr, Kuleliburgaz), sometimes referred to as Pythion, is a village and community in the eastern part of Didymoteicho municipality, Evros regional unit, Greece. It is 16 km east of the centre of Didymoteicho, on the right bank of the river Evros, where it forms the border with Turkey. There is no road border crossing near Pythio. Kipoi, Evros
Kipoi or Kipi ( el, Κήποι) is a village in Feres municipal unit, Evros regional unit in northeastern Greece. A major motorway border crossing between Greece and Turkey is located here. The town on the Turkish side is İpsala. Kipoi was known as "Bahçeköy" ("Garden Village") or "Alibeyçiftliği" ("Ali Bey's Farm") during Ottoman rule. Didymoteicho ( el, Διδυμότειχο, Didymóteicho ) is a city located on the eastern edge of the Evros regional unit of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, in northeastern Greece. It is the seat of the municipality of the same name. Makri (Greek: Μάκρη) is a village and a municipal district of the city of Alexandroupoli, Evros regional unit, Greece.
