is a series of yonkoma manga parody anthologies written and illustrated by various artists and published by Futabasha, based on various video game series such as ''Mario'' and ''The Legend of Zelda''. Changes of series Early Days (1991–93) *Futabasha began by publishing the Famicom Adventure Game Book series. *4 Koma Manga Kingdom was an effort by a rotating amateur team of artists and writers. Some of the most notable artists were Noboru Matsuyama, Satomi Nakamura, Ryo Sasaki, and Morita Yasuhiro. The series started gaining popularity around 1993. Yonkoma
, a comic strip format, generally consists of gag comic strips within four panels of equal size ordered from top to bottom. They also sometimes run right-to-left horizontally or use a hybrid 2×2 style, depending on the layout requirements of the publication in which they appear. Although the word ''yonkoma'' comes from Japanese, the style also exists outside Japan in other Asian countries as well as in the English-speaking market, particularly in mid-20th century United States strips, where ''Peanuts'' popularized the format. is a 1995 tactical role-playing game developed and published by Quest Corporation for the Super Famicom. It was later ported to the Sega Saturn (1996) and the PlayStation (1997), the latter released in North America in 1998 by Atlus USA. is a weapons-based fighting game developed by Tamsoft and published by Takara and Sony Computer Entertainment in 1995 for the PlayStation, followed by 1996 ports for the Sega Saturn, Game Boy and MS-DOS. It was one of the first fighting games to boast polygonal characters in a 3D environment, and features a sidestep maneuver which is credited for taking the genre into "true 3D."
