2024 Copa Sudamericana
The 2024 Copa CONMEBOL Sudamericana will be the 23rd edition of the CONMEBOL Sudamericana (also referred to as the ''Copa Sudamericana''), South America's secondary club football tournament organized by CONMEBOL. The winners of the 2024 Copa Sudamericana will earn the right to play against the winners of the 2024 Copa Libertadores in the 2025 Recopa Sudamericana. They will also automatically qualify for the 2025 Copa Libertadores group stage. LDU Quito are the titleholders, but since they qualified for the 2024 Copa Libertadores group stage as Copa Sudamericana champions, they will only be able to defend their title if they end in third place of their Copa Libertadores group. The 2023 Copa de la División Profesional, known as the 2023 Copa Tigo for sponsorship purposes, was the first edition of the Copa de la División Profesional, a Bolivian league cup competition which was contested by the 17 teams that took part in the Bolivian Primera División for the 2023 season. The 2023 Chilean Primera División, known as Campeonato Betsson 2023 for sponsorship purposes, is the 93rd season of the Chilean Primera División, Chile's top-flight football league. The season began on 20 January and is scheduled to end on 10 December 2023. Colo-Colo are the defending champions. The 2023 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A will be the 67th season of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, the top level of professional football in Brazil, and the 20th edition in a double round-robin since its establishment in 2003. The competition will begin on 16 April and will end on 3 December 2023. The top six teams as well as the 2023 Copa do Brasil champions will qualify for the Copa Libertadores.
