2023–24 Serie C
The 2023–24 Serie C will be the tenth season of the unified Serie C division, the third tier of the Italian football league system. Changes The league will be composed of 60 teams, geographically divided into three different groups. The group composition will be decided and formalized by the Serie C league committee between July and August. Serie C
The Serie C () is the third-highest division in the Italian football league system after the Serie B and Serie A. The Lega Italiana Calcio Professionistico (Lega Pro) is the governing body that runs the Serie C. The unification of the Lega Pro Prima Divisione and the Lega Pro Seconda Divisione as Lega Pro Divisione Unica (often also abbreviated as ''Lega Pro'') in 2014 reintroduced the format of the original Serie C that existed between 1935 and 1978 (before the split into Serie C1 and Serie C2). On 25 May 2017 the Lega Pro assembly unanimously approved the return to the original name of the competition to Serie C. Montevarchi Calcio Aquila 1902 is an Italian professional football club, based in Montevarchi, Tuscany. It plays in . History Foundation The club was founded in 1902 as Società Ciclistica Aquila and in 1926 was renamed Club Sportivo Aquila Montevarchi. Montevarchi in the season 2010–11, from Serie D group E was relegated, in the play-out, to Eccellenza Tuscany. Casertana FC
Casertana Football Club is an Italian association football club based in Caserta, Campania. The club currently plays in Serie D. History The club was founded in 1908 as Robur Caserta and became known as Unione Sportiva Casertana from 1928 until 2005, when the team was cancelled by the federation. The club also had two stints in Serie B in 1970–71 and 1991–92. The club was refounded in 2005 as A.S. Caserta Calcio and was later renamed A.S. Casertana Calcio. During the 2009–10 Serie D season, the side took back its traditional denomination. Reggina 1914 S.r.l., commonly referred to as Reggina, is an Italian football club based in Reggio Calabria.
