The 2023 Danish Speedway season was the 2023 season of motorcycle speedway in Denmark. Individual Individual Championship The 2023 Danish Individual Speedway Championship was the 2023 edition of the Danish Individual Speedway Championship. The final was held at the Slangerup Speedway Center on 21 June 2023. Mikkel Michelsen won the title on his home track. Grand Prix Qualifier The 2023 Danish Grand Prix Qualifier was the 2023 edition of the Danish qualifier for the 2024 Speedway Grand Prix. The final was held at Vojens on 5 April and the top four riders qualified for the 2024 Speedway Grand Prix Qualification stage. U21 Championship Emil Breum won the Under 21 Championship. Michael Jepsen Jensen (born 18 February 1992) is a speedway rider from Denmark. Career He was part of the 2010 Under-21 World Cup winning Denmark team. Emil Breum Ankersen (born 16 January 2002) is a motorcycle speedway rider from Denmark. Career Breum reached the final of the 2021 Individual Speedway Junior European Championship. Tim Sørensen (born 14 May 2000) is a speedway rider from Denmark. Niels Kristian Trochmann Iversen (, born 20 June 1982 in Esbjerg, Denmark) is an international motorcycle speedway rider. He was part of the Danish teams that won the Speedway World Cup in 2006, 2008, 2012 and 2014. 2024 Speedway Grand Prix Qualification
The 2024 Individual Speedway World Championship Grand Prix Qualification or GP Challenge was a series of motorcycle speedway meetings held during 2023 to determine the riders that will qualify for the 2024 Speedway Grand Prix. The series consisted of four qualifying rounds at Žarnovica, Lonigo, Debrecen and Abensberg and the Grand Prix Challenge at Gislaved. 2024 Speedway Grand Prix
The 2024 Speedway Grand Prix season is the 30th season of the Speedway Grand Prix era, and will decide the 79th FIM Speedway World Championship. It is the third series promoted by Discovery Sports Events. A new sprint race was introduced at selected Grand Prix during the qualifying session, with the fastest rider in each qualifying session progressing to a single race for extra points. The idea behind the sprint race was similar to that brought into the Formula One, whereby the qualifying sessions were given more importance.
