2022 Torneo Federal A
The 2022 Argentine Torneo Federal A, was the tenth season of the Torneo Federal A, the regionalised third tier of the Argentine football league system. The tournament is reserved for teams indirectly affiliated to the Asociación del Fútbol Argentino (AFA), while teams affiliated to AFA have to play the Primera B Metropolitana, which is the other third tier competition. The competition was contested by 29 of the 31 teams that took part in the 2021 season and four teams promoted from Torneo Regional Federal Amateur. Two teams will be promoted to Primera Nacional and four teams were relegated to Torneo Regional Federal Amateur. The season began on 27 march and ended in November 2022. Torneo Federal A
The Torneo Federal A (in English "Federal A Tournament") is one of the two professional leagues that form the regionalised third level of the Argentine football league system, along with Primera B Metropolitana. The competition was established in 2014 as a result of a change in the structure of the league system, replacing Torneo Argentino A. Federal A is organised by "Consejo Federal", a division of the Argentine Football Association. Clubs in Federal A have indirect membership in AFA unlike clubs in Primera B, which have direct membership. All teams with indirect membership are from outside the city of Buenos Aires (playing in regional leagues) and its metropolitan area (Greater Buenos Aires), while most of the direct members are from the aforementioned area. Huracán Las Heras
Huracan (; es, Huracán; myn, Hunraqan, "one legged"), often referred to as ''U Kʼux Kaj'', the "Heart of Sky", is a Kʼicheʼ Maya god of wind, storm, fire and one of the creator deities who participated in all three attempts at creating humanity. He also caused the Great Flood after the second generation of humans angered the gods. He supposedly lived in the windy mists above the floodwaters and repeatedly invoked "earth" until land came up from the seas. His name, understood as 'One-Leg', suggests god K of Postclassic and Classic Maya iconography, a deity of lightning with one human leg, and one leg shaped like a serpent. Racing De Córdoba
Club Atlético Racing (usually referred as Racing de Córdoba) is an Argentine football club from the city of Córdoba. The team currently plays in Federal A, the regionalised third division of the Argentine football league system. History Racing was founded in the Nueva Italia district of Córdoba on 14 December 1924. Its most successful season came in 1980 when the team finished 2nd in the Nacional championship, after losing the final matches at the hands of Rosario Central, with scores of 1–5 and 2–0 respectively (3–5 on aggregate). At the end of the 2005–06 season the club narrowly missed out on promotion to the Primera B Nacional. Racing had to play San Martín de Tucumán in the Clausura final. Club Atlético Douglas Haig is an Argentine football club from Pergamino, Buenos Aires Province, which plays in the country's Third Division. The club is named in honour of Field Marshal Sir Douglas Haig, a victorious General from World War I History In November 1918 a group of British workers on the Argentinian Central Railroad set up a football team to take part in the local soccer championship. This required the consent and support of the Chief of the railway, Mr. Ronald Leslie, who, as a condition, requested that the new club name itself in honour of Sir Douglas Haig, the Commander-in-Chief of the British Armies in Western Europe, who had just led them to victory in World War I. Club Mutual Crucero del Norte (simply known as Crucero del Norte) is an Argentine sports club based in Garupá, Misiones Province. The club was founded in 2003 by a long-distance bus company which gave its name to the institution. Club Sportivo Peñarol is a sports association primarily dedicated to football founded on 24 November 1918 and based in the town of Chimbas, near the city of San Juan, Argentina.
