Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships
The Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships are the world championships for the sport of rhythmic gymnastics. The tournament is promoted and organized by the Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique (FIG). It is one of the three tournaments in rhythmic gymnastics officially organized by FIG, as well as the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup and the gymnastics competitions at the Olympic Games (in collaboration with the IOC and the federation of the country organising the Games). The first edition of the World Championships was held in 1963, a time when the sport was known as modern gymnastics. The current program of the World Championships contemplates both individual and group performances. In even non-Olympic years and the year before the Olympics, a team event is also contested. Two events are not competed at the World Championships anymore: individual rope and free hands. Daniella Kromm
Daniella Kromm (born 17 February 2004) is a German rhythmic gymnast. She won silver in the senior team category at the 2022 World Championships. Career Junior Kromm was part of the German junior group that competed at both the 2019 European and World Championships, finishing 12th in Baku and 10th in Moscow. Senior Daniela integrated the senior group in 2021, training seven hours a day at the Fellbach-Schmiden federal training centre, competing at the World Championships, finishing 7th in the All-Around. Ekaterina Olegovna Vedeneeva (russian: Екатерина Олеговна Веденеева; ; born 23 June 1994) is a Russian individual rhythmic gymnast competing for Slovenia since 2018. She made her debut for Slovenia in August 2018 at the World Cup event in Kazan, Russian Federation. On national level, she is a three-time (2019, 2021, 2022) Slovenian National All-around champion. In 2021, she became the first Slovenian rhythmic gymnast to compete at Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Salma Solaun
Salma Solaun (born March 2 2005) is a Spanish rhythmic gymnast who competed at the 2019 Junior World Rhythmic Gymnastic championships, where she won a bronze medal. She also won a silver medal at the 2022 European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships, in the 3 ribbons + 2 balls final. Personal life Solaun took up gymnastics at age three because she was restless, so her parents signed her up for a rhythmic gymnastics class. Patricia Pérez (born 8 August 2004) is a Spanish rhythmic gymnast. She's the bronze All-Around and 5 hoops medalist at the 2022 World Championships. Alba Bautista (born 13 July 2002) is a Spanish rhythmic gymnast. She won a bronze medal at the 2022 World Championships in the team category.
