The following human polls make up the 2022 NCAA Division I men's baseball rankings. The ''USA Today''/ESPN Coaches Poll is voted on by a panel of 31 Division I baseball coaches. The ''Baseball America'' poll is voted on by staff members of the ''Baseball America'' magazine. These polls, along with the Perfect Game USA poll, rank the top 25 teams nationally. ''Collegiate Baseball'' and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association rank the top 30 teams nationally. 2022 NCAA Division I Baseball Season
The 2022 NCAA Division I baseball season was a college baseball season in the United States organized by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) at the Division I level. It began on February 18, 2022, with play progressing through the regular season, various conference tournaments and championship series, and concluding with the 2022 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament and 2022 Men's College World Series. The Men's College World Series, consisting of the eight remaining teams in the NCAA Tournament and held annually in Omaha, Nebraska, at Charles Schwab Field Omaha, ended on June 26, 2022. 2022 Mississippi State Bulldogs Baseball Team
The 2022 Mississippi State Bulldogs baseball team represented Mississippi State University in the 2022 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Bulldogs played their home games at Dudy Noble Field. They entered this season as the defending national champions. Previous season The Bulldogs finished 50–18, 20–10 in the SEC to finish in second place in the West. 2022 Oregon State Beavers Baseball Team
The 2022 Oregon State Beavers baseball team represented Oregon State University in the 2022 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Beavers played their home games at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field as members of the Pac-12 Conference. The team was coached by Mitch Canham in his third season at Oregon State. The 2022 TCU Horned Frogs baseball team represents Texas Christian University during the 2022 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Horned Frogs play their home games at Lupton Stadium as a member of the Big 12 Conference. They are led by head coach Kirk Saarloos, in his inaugural year as head coach and tenth season at TCU. Previous season The 2021 TCU Horned Frogs baseball team notched a 41–20 (17–7) record. The Frogs claimed a share of the Big 12 regular season championship as well as the outright Big 12 Tournament championship. 2022 Arizona Wildcats Baseball Team
The 2022 Arizona Wildcats baseball team represented the University of Arizona during the 2022 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Wildcats played their home games for the 11th season at Hi Corbett Field. The team was coached by Chip Hale in his 1st season at Arizona. Previous head coach Jay Johnson - who had been with the program for 6 seasons - was hired during the offseason as the head coach at LSU, filling the vacancy left by the retirement of Paul Mainieri.
