2022 Chinese Super League
The 2022 Ping An Chinese Football Association Super League () is the 19th season since the establishment of the Chinese Super League. The league title sponsor is Ping An Insurance. On May 23, the league was confirmed to start from June 3. Affected by the epidemic, the competition system is still adopted in the first stage of this season, and it is planned to return to the home and away competition system from August 5, 2022 (from 11th round). Format The format of the season was revealed on 13 May 2022. In the first stage (round 1-10), 18 teams will be divided into three groups. Chinese Super League
The Chinese Football Association Super League, commonly known as Chinese Super League or CSL, currently known as the China Ping An Chinese Football Association Super League for sponsorship reasons, is the highest tier of professional football in China, operating under the auspices of the Chinese Football Association (CFA). The league was established in 2004 by the rebranding of the former top division, Chinese Jia-A League. Initially contested by 12 teams in its inaugural year, the league has since expanded, with 18 teams competing in the 2022 season. A total of 35 teams have competed in the CSL since its inception, with 8 of them winning the title: Guangzhou (eight), Shandong Taishan (four), Shenzhen, Dalian Shide, Changchun Yatai, Beijing Guoan, Shanghai Port, and Jiangsu (all one title). Wuyuanhe Stadium () is a stadium in Haikou's west coast area, Hainan, China. It is Hainan's largest stadium. History Construction started March 7, 2017. It was scheduled for completion on April 28, 2018, and by June of that year, the stadium itself was almost entirely complete with the grounds still under construction. Haikou (; ), also spelled as Hoikow is the capital and most populous city of the Chinese province of Hainan. Haikou city is situated on the northern coast of Hainan, by the mouth of the Nandu River. Wuhua County Olympic Sports Centre (), formerly known as the Wuhua County Football Culture Park (), is a sports complex located in Wuhua County, Meizhou, Guangdong, China. The complex consists of a football stadium named Huitang Stadium, gymnasium, futsal field, a seven-a-side football field, tennis courts and swimming and diving complex.
