2021–22 VTB United League
The 2021–22 VTB United League is the 13th season of the VTB United League. It is the 9th season that the league functions as the Russian domestic first tier level. Teams A total of 10 teams from three countries contest the league, including eight sides from Russia, one from Belarus, and one from Kazakhstan. BC Khimki didn't apply for this season because of the financial difficulties. On 24 February 2022 Kalev/Cramo terminated their membership with VTB United League due to the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine. The next day the league confirmed receiving declaration letter from the club. VTB United League
VTB United League (russian: Единая Лига ВТБ) is an international professional men's club basketball list of basketball leagues, league that was founded in 2008. It is made up of mostly Russian clubs, along with one each from Belarus and Kazakhstan. Since VTB United League 2013–14, 2013, it is the Russian basketball league system, first tier of Russian professional club basketball. Therefore, the highest placed Russian team in the league is also named list of Russian basketball champions, Russian national champions. The league is sponsored by Russian state-owned VTB Bank. In 2008 PBC CSKA Moscow, CSKA Moscow won VTB United League Promo-Cup, but this competition does not count as official VTB title. BC Enisey
BC Enisey (russian: БК Енисей) is a Russian professional basketball team from the city of Krasnoyarsk, Siberia, Russia. Since the 2011–12 season, Enisey plays its national domestic league games in the VTB United League. The team colors are blue and white. The club's full name is Basketball Club Enisey Krasnoyarsk. History Enisey Krasnoyarsk was founded as Polytechnic, and played its games at the Krasnoyarsk State Technical University. The team started off in the lower leagues of the Soviet Union, and its best achievement was winning the USSR Cup for teams in Siberia in 1988. In the 1997–98 season, the team played at the highest Russian level for the first time, when it played in the Russian Super League 1. Basket-Hall Krasnodar, or Baskethall-Krasnodar, () is a multi-purpose indoor arena that is located in Krasnodar, Russia. The arena is mainly used to host basketball games. The arena contains two basketball halls. The large main hall seats 7,500, and the smaller hall, which is used for training, seats 500. The large main hall also includes an amphitheater section. Unibet Arena is a multi-purpose indoor arena in the Haabersti subdistrict of the Estonian capital, Tallinn. Opened in November 2001, it is the largest multi-purpose hall in the country with around 7,000 seats but can hold up to 10,000 people.
