The 2021–22 Dhaka Senior Division Football League also known as Bashundhara Group Senior Division Football League for sponsorship reasons or as First Division Football League, was the 6th season of the Dhaka Senior Division Football League, Dhaka Senior Division League since it was rebranded in 2007. A total of 14 teams were competed in the league. Somaj Kallyan KS Mugda is the current trophy holder having won Dhaka Senior Division Football League, 2021–22 season title. Venue The opening ceremony and opening match was held at Bashundhara Kings Arena of Bashundhara Sports Complex, Dhaka. The rest of the matches are being played at Bir Sherestha Shaheed Shipahi Mostafa Kamal Stadium of Kamalapur, Dhaka. The 2021–22 Bangladesh Championship League was the 10th season of the Bangladesh Championship League since its establishment in 2012. A total of 12 football clubs are competing in the league. Brothers Union withdrew from the league due to the internal mismanagement and financial issue of the club. The league kicked off from 20 February and concluded on 13 June 2022. Dhaka Second Division Football League
Dhaka Second Division Football League is the fourth-tier football league in Bangladesh, and the second highest league division in Dhaka. The league was founded in 1948 as the second-tier of the Dhaka League, while Bangladesh were still under the control of Pakistan. Until 1992, it was the second-tier of Bangladeshi football, before being replaced by the now defunct Dhaka First Division Football League, in 1993. In 2012, the league was further demoted into becoming the country's fourth-tier. The two top-finishing teams in the Super League round are automatically promoted to the Dhaka Senior Division League (Dhaka League).
