2021 Speedway Grand Prix Of Poland
The 2021 FIM Speedway Grand Prix of Poland was the third, fourth, fifth, sixth, tenth and eleventh rounds of the 2021 Speedway Grand Prix season (the World Championship). The calendar of events was severely disrupted by the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and therefore Poland held six rounds of the eleven rounds of the 2021 World Championship. The third and fourth rounds took place on 30 & 31 July 2021 at the Olympic Stadium in Wrocław. The fifth and sixth rounds were held on 6 and 7 August at the MOSiR Stadium (Bystrzyca) in Lublin and finally the last two rounds were held on 1 & 2 October at the MotoArena Toruń in Toruń. The rounds were the 48th to 53rd Speedway Grand Prix of Poland. Four of the rounds were won by the defending world champion Bartosz Zmarzlik (his 11th, 12th, 13th and 15th career Grand Prix wins respectively). Wiktor Lampart (born 21 May 2001) is an international speedway rider from Poland. Speedway career Lampart became the European Junior Champion after winning the 2019 Individual Speedway Junior European Championship. He had previously won the silver medal in 2018. Tobiasz Musielak (born 18 August 1993 in Leszno, Poland) is a Polish motorcycle speedway rider who rode for the Wolverhampton Wolves in the Elite League and has also ridden for Swindon Robins and Sheffield Tigers. Career Musielak, the younger brother of fellow Speedway rider Sławomir Musielak, mirrored the early career of his brother by starting his career with Unia Leszno who Tobiasz still rides for today after first riding for them in 2009. Gleb Chugunov (born 17 December 1999) is an international speedway rider from Russia, who rides on a Polish licence. Speedway career Chugunov won a bronze medal at the Speedway World Cup in the 2017 Speedway World Cup. The following year the competition was rebranded as the Speedway of Nations and Chugunov has twice been credited with a gold medal for being part of the victorious Russian side in 2018 and 2019.
