2021 Polish Basketball Cup
The 2021 Suzuki Polish Basketball Cup ( pl, Puchar Polski 2021) was the 57th edition of Poland's national cup competition for men's basketball teams. It was managed by the Polish Basketball League (PLK) and was held in Lublin, in the ''Globus''. Basket Zielona Góra, Zastal Zielona Góra won its third Cup title in club history. Qualified teams The eight teams first qualified after the first half of the 2020–21 PLK season qualified to the tournament. The four highest-placed teams would play the lowest-seeded teams in the quarter-finals. Start Lublin qualified as host of the tournament, and gained automatic qualification. 2020–21 PLK Season
The 2020–21 Polish Basketball League (PLK) season, the Energa Basket Liga for sponsorship reasons, was the 87th season of the Polish Basketball League, the highest professional basketball league in Poland. Stelmet Enea Zielona Góra were the defending champions. Arged BM Slam Stal Ostrów Wielkopolski won its first ever national championship. Teams 16 teams will participate this season. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, there were no relegation or promotion. Jay L. Threatt (born August 8, 1989) is an American professional basketball player for FC Porto in the Portuguese Basketball League. He played for the Delaware State Hornets for three seasons and twice led the NCAA in steals. He was the first ever Division I player to hold at least a share of the steals title in more than one season. High school career Threatt played high school basketball for Highland Springs High School in Virginia for four years. Baylee Steele
Joseph Tyrrell Baylee, D.D. (1807–1883), was a theological writer. Baylee received his education at Trinity College Dublin (B.A. 1834, M.A. 1848, B.D. and D.D. 1852). Geoffrey Groselle
Geoffrey Groselle (born February 12, 1993) is an American professional basketball player for Legia Warszawa of the Polish Basketball League. A left-handed center, he played high school basketball at Plano West Senior High School, and four seasons in the NCAA Division I with the Creighton Bluejays. After going undrafted in the 2016 NBA draft, Groselle started a professional career in Europe with German team Löwen Braunschweig of the Basketball Bundesliga.
