2021 Pittsburgh Panthers Women's Soccer Team
The 2021 Pittsburgh Panthers women's soccer team represented University of Pittsburgh during the 2021 NCAA Division I women's soccer season. The Panthers were led by head coach Randy Waldrum, in his fourth season. They played home games at Ambrose Urbanic Field. This was the team's 26th season playing organized women's college soccer and their 9th playing in the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Panthers finished the season 11–7–0 overall, and 4–6–0 in ACC play to finish in ninth place. They did not qualify for the ACC Tournament and were not invited to the NCAA Tournament. Previous season Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the ACC played a reduced schedule in 2020 and the NCAA Tournament was postponed to 2021. Randy Waldrum
Randy Marlon Waldrum (born September 25, 1956) is an American former professional soccer player, the current head coach of University of Pittsburgh Panthers women's soccer team and is the current head coach of the Nigeria women's national team on October 5, 2020. Coaching career He started his coaching career at Austin College in 1982, leading the men's soccer team to a 4–12–1 record. In 1988, he was the head men's soccer coach at Texas Wesleyan University, and compiled a 6–10 record. From 1989 to 1994, he coached both the men's and women's soccer teams at the University of Tulsa. He posted a 66–33–6 record with the men, and a 61–36–9 record with the women. In 1996, he founded the Baylor University women's soccer program, and went 46–14–3 from 1996 to 1998. Towson Tigers Women's Soccer
The Towson Tigers, formerly the ''Towson College Knights'', are the athletics teams of Towson University. All of the major athletic teams compete in the Colonial Athletic Association with 19 Division I athletic teams (13 in women's sports, 6 in men's sports). TCU Horned Frogs Women's Soccer
The TCU Horned Frogs are the athletic teams that represent Texas Christian University. The 18 varsity teams participate in NCAA Division I and in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) for football, competing mostly in the Big 12 Conference. Sweeney Field
Sweeney Field (previously called Finnesey Field) is a multi-use sports facility on the Saint Joseph's University campus in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, which opened in 1929 and was originally planned to be the centerpiece to a 70,000 seat football stadium in the natural bowl of the campus. In 1960, both the original grandstand and hillside seating were eliminated for the construction of Villiger (now Post) Building/Bluett Theater. That construction necessitated raising the field's level some five feet above its earlier location. In 1990, the facility's usage was greatly expanded with the installation of artificial turf. The Saint Joseph's Hawks are the athletic teams that represent Saint Joseph's University of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Hawks compete in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association as a member of the Atlantic 10 Conference and of the Philadelphia Big 5. NJIT Highlanders Women's Soccer
The NJIT Highlanders, formerly the New Jersey Tech Highlanders, are the varsity sport members of the Division I NCAA-affiliated sports teams of New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT). There are ten men's teams, seven women's teams, and three club teams along with a variety of intramural teams. The school's primary conference is the America East Conference. The Cleveland State Vikings, or Vikes, are the athletic teams of Cleveland State University. Before as Fenn College they were known as the Fenn College Foxes or Fenn Foxes. Cleveland State competes in NCAA Division I. The Vikings have competed in NCAA Division I since 1972. They were previously members of the NCAA College Division, a precursor to NCAA Division II.
