2021 Copa Sudamericana Final Stages
The 2021 Copa Sudamericana final stages was played from 13 July to 20 November 2021. A total of 16 teams competed in the final stages to decide the champions of the 2021 Copa Sudamericana, with the final played in Montevideo, Uruguay at Estadio Centenario. Qualified teams The winners of each of the eight groups in the Copa Sudamericana group stage as well as the third-placed teams of each of the eight groups in the Copa Libertadores group stage advanced to the round of 16. 2021 Copa Sudamericana
The 2021 Copa CONMEBOL Sudamericana was the 20th edition of the CONMEBOL Sudamericana (also referred to as the ''Copa Sudamericana'', or pt, Copa Sul-Americana), South America's secondary club football tournament organized by CONMEBOL. Starting from this season, teams must be in the top division of their member association to play in South American club competitions, except for teams which are champions of the qualifying tournaments or cups. On 14 May 2020, CONMEBOL announced the candidate venues for the 2021, 2022 and 2023 club competition finals. Sporting Cristal
Club Sporting Cristal S.A. is a Peruvian sports club located in the city of Lima, best known for its association football, football team. It was founded on 13 December 1955 in the RÃmac District, RÃmac district by engineer Richard BentÃn Mujica and his wife Esther Grande de BentÃn, stockholders of the Peruvian brewery Backus and Johnston. Paraguay observes UTC−04:00 for standard time (PYT), and UTC−03:00 for daylight saving time/summer time (PYST). Daylight saving time Paraguay observes DST under decree 1867 of March 5, 2004. Penalty Shoot-out (association Football)
A penalty shoot-out (officially kicks from the penalty mark) is a tie-breaking method in association football to determine which team is awarded victory in a match that cannot end in a draw, when the score is tied after the normal time as well as extra time (if used) have expired. In a penalty shoot-out, each team takes turns shooting at goal from the penalty mark, with the goal defended only by the opposing team's goalkeeper. Each team has five shots which must be taken by different kickers; the team that makes more successful kicks is declared the victor. Shoot-outs finish as soon as one team has an insurmountable lead. If scores are level after five pairs of shots, the shootout progresses into additional " sudden-death" rounds. Overtime or extra time is an additional period of play specified under the rules of a sport to bring a game to a decision and avoid declaring the match a tie or draw where the scores are the same. In sports (particularly association football), a two-legged tie is a contest between two teams which comprises two matches or "legs", with each team as the home team in one leg.
