The 2020–21 Super League 2 was the second season of the Super League 2, the second-tier Greek professional league for association football clubs, since restructuring of the Greek football league system. Season's start has been delayed due to the COVID-19 second lockdown in Greece that began in November 2020 and started on 16 January 2021. Super League Greece 2
The Super League Greece 2 ( el, Ελληνική Σούπερ Λίγκα 2) is the 28 team two-group second division of professional football in Greece, being a feeder-league to the top-level Super League usually played from September to May. History The league was founded in 2019, after the restructuring of the Greek football league championships, replacing the Football League (former Beta Ethniki) as the second level in the league pyramid. Twelve (12) clubs participated in the league's first season and second season of operation. For the third season (2021-2022) the league was restructured into a two-group league with thirty-two (32) clubs after the abolition of the third level Football League. 2020–21 Gamma Ethniki
The 2020–21 Gamma Ethniki was the 38th season since the official establishment of the championship in 1983, but the 2nd season as the fourth tier of the Greek Football. It started on 11 October 2020 but put on hold from the Greek government due to the COVID-19 pandemic on 1 November 2020. It restarted on 11 April 2021, with the group stage being completed after its first round. The champions of each group then qualified for a playoff round, to determine which four teams would be promoted to 2021–22 Super League 2. 136 teams were divided into ten groups according to geographical criteria. Doxa Kato Kamila, Souli Paramythia, Thinaliakos, AO Anatoli, PAS Kithairon Kaparelli, Sparti and Panakrotiriakos withdrew from the league before the group draw. Diagoras Stadium
The Municipal Stadium of Rhodes "Diagoras" (former national), with its original Italian name Arena Del Sole, is a football and cycling stadium in the city of Rhodes and is the seat of the General Assembly of Diagoras Rhodes and AS. Rhodes (; el, Ρόδος , translit=Ródos ) is the largest and the historical capital of the Dodecanese islands of Greece. From the 2012-2013 season, Platanias FC were based at Perivolia Municipal Stadium, which led to extensive upgrading and modernization work at all levels during the summer of 2012, to meet in full all obligations set by the organizing principle of the Greek Super League. AEL FC Arena is a football stadium in Larissa, Greece, with a current seating capacity of 16,118. Since its completion in 2010 and for 8 seasons, it has been the home ground of AΕL. Levadiakos Football Club ( el, ΠΑΕ Λεβαδειακός) is a Greek professional football club that plays in the Super League Greece.
