Macarthur FC
Macarthur Football Club is an Australian professional soccer club based in South Western Sydney, New South Wales. It competes in Australia's premier soccer competition, the A-League, under licence from Australian Professional Leagues (APL). On 13 December 2018, it was announced that the club would be accepted into the A-League as part of the new expansion process. History The club's origins are in the merging of two separate bids during the league's expansion process in 2018, United for Macarthur and South West Sydney FC. The two entities joined forces on 20 August 2018 to create Macarthur South West United Football Club, which later that year was chosen by the FFA to join the league in the 2020–21 A-League season. The team captain of an association football team, sometimes known as the skipper, is a team member chosen to be the on-pitch leader of the team; they are often one of the older or more experienced members of the squad, or a player that can heavily influence a game or has good leadership qualities. Kyle Cimenti
Kyle Cimenti (born 5 November 1998) is an Australian professional soccer player who plays as a forward for Marconi Stallions. Club career After spending some time in the Western Sydney Wanderers youth setup, Cimenti signed for Sydney United 58 FC playing out the 2018 NPL NSW season. In October 2018 Cimenti first signed for NK Spansko later moving to NK Kustošija in 2019 in the Croatian HNL-2 second division . Cimenti returned to Australia in 2020 and signed for Rockdale Ilinden FC were he scored 8 goals in 13 appearances over the course of the season. Nicholas Suman (born 28 February 2000), is an Australian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Macarthur. Club career Western Sydney Wanderers In May 2017, Suman signed a one-year scholarship contract with Western Sydney Wanderers. In July 2018, his scholarship contract was extended by two years. Aleksandar Šušnjar ( sr-cyrl, Александар Шушњар, born 19 August 1995) is an Australian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Macarthur FC in the A-League. Club career Born in Perth, Šušnjar made his senior debut in Europe, playing with Lithuanian side Ekranas in A Lyga seasons 2013 and 2014. Then he returned to Australia and played with Perth SC in the 2015 National Premier Leagues. Next he signed with Lietava Jonava playing with them in the 2016 A Lyga. Romanian Liga I club Gaz Metan Mediaș signed him and Šušnjar played with them until the winter-break when he moved to Czech Republic and joined FK Teplice. Moudi Najjar ( ar, مودي النجار; born 20 June 2000) is a professional footballer who plays as a forward, for Rockdale Ilinden in the National Premier Leagues NSW.
